The FREE items promotion is still in effect. There are still lots of cd’s left so we will keep giving them away with orders as long as we still have them here. A HUGE thanks goes out to all of the folks who have ordered stuff since this was announced. And, in case you forgot, here is how it works…buy $20.00 worth and get ONE free cd (our choosing), buy $40.00 worth and get TWO free cd’s….and so on. As for the cd’s we are giving away, in most cases these are limited quantity releases from obscure labels and about 95% of the titles that we are giving away never even made it into the mailorder so...what are you waiting for???

New Blog.

From now on this home page will not contain much news or updates as we started a new blog page which will suit or needs much better. The new blog will be updated fairly regularly with news about upcoming releases, maiorder updates and other such news. You can access the blog by clicking the link to the left or just click here . God is Myth Records has signed a deal with Illinois based blacked doom outfit VELNIAS to release their debut album. The bands music can be best described as a combination of sorrowful black metal with a very doomy atmosphere, combined with elements of folk. Although the band definately has their own sound, one could easily give comparisons to bands like OPETH, AGALLOCH, PRIMORDIAL & WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM. No release date has been set yet as the band are currently working on the final mixes and then it will be sent to the God is Myth Records combine for final mastering. In the meantime check out the VELNIAS myspace page for a few samples of tracks that will appear on the cd.
